APPLE VALLEY, October 3, 2014 – Women undergoing cancer treatment are invited to learn how to combat treatment’s appearance related side effects at a free session of Look Good…Feel Better® on Monday, October 20th at Senior Select Resource Center at 19333 Bear Valley Road, Suite 103, Apple Valley, CA from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Participants must register by calling 1.800.227.2345.

Look Good…Feel Better is a free two-hour workshop conducted by trained and licensed volunteer beauty professionals who offer practical tips about skin care, makeup techniques, and guidance for coping with hair loss. Participants also receive a free bag of makeup matched to their skin tone from leading cosmetic companies valued at about $250. Ultimately, participants receive a boost in self-esteem that helps them better face their cancer battle.
